Olav Jaeger

Olav is a German and European Patent Attorney, holds a law degree and is allowed to represent clients before the European Union’s Unitary Patent Court. In addition to patent prosecution and opposition proceedings before the German and European Patent Offices, he also focuses on the management of a large trademark portfolio in an international environment. His extensive professional experience enables him to advise clients strategically, in particular with regard to the development, maintenance and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.

After graduating in physics from the Technical University of Munich, Olav initially worked in industry before joining a patent law firm in 2001. After successfully passing the German and European exams, he continued his career there as associate and later partner before moving to Tetra Pak in Lund as head of the patent department. Back in Germany, he took over the management of the German office of a Scandinavian law firm and gained further in-house experience. At the end of 2021, Olav together with his knowledgeable colleagues merged to form our current firm.

Olav’s technical expertise includes semiconductor physics, electronics, software, medical technology and food production. With his management experience in several leading industrial companies, he offers small and medium-sized companies as well as large corporations comprehensive, strategic advice that combines technical and legal aspects with commercial understanding.
